Shri Jayathirtharu popularly known as Teekarayaru because of his learned commentaries to the great works of Sriman Madhwacharya is a great ideologue of Madhwa Philosophy. As each word of Sriman Madhwacharya in “Brahma suthra” and “Bhashya” carries hidden meanings, it is not easily comprehendible to common people. Therefore Shri Teekacharya gave illustrations with meanings in simple words besides writing summary to help common man to follow Sriman Madhwacharya's principles. Moola Brindavana of Shri Jayathirtharu is in “Malakheda”. Mrithika brindavana is in different parts of the country. Every year on Ashada Bahula Panchami Aaradhana is celebrated. Lectures from eminent scholars and Seers of various Mutts are arranged to enlighten people about Shri Jayathirtharu and his great works.
